My Niece's First Digi-LO

I am so proud of my niece's first digital LO. She scrapped her dog, Fiona. Oh my, if you only knew how spoiled this dog is... The whole family went camping a few months ago. We couldn't leave Fiona at the camp site if we went out in the boat or swam out to the island. Fiona fought getting in the water at first, but she got over it quite quickly. She even learned the clues that we were going to be going out in the boat and would get it in it before anyone else...lol. By the end of that trip, that dog could really swim!!! She's such a sweetie...and so is my niece. Click on the image to be able to go give her some love! She just turned 11...look at the talent!

Monday Marbles Freebie

I have a set of 4 FREE brag book pages for you today! These are brag book pages with a twist...make them into an address book! After you pop your photos into the page (all in png format), you can add text using your photo editing program or scrapbooking program...or you can just write on them after you print them with a decent photo/scrapbooking pen or marker. I used Monotype Corsiva...a slightly fancy font that comes with a lot of Microsoft products, but it will go nicely with many others if you don't have that one. I used a different one (Freehand951 BT) for the sample page below. Also, you can resize these into tiny 2x3 pages to have and adorable yet functional brag book address book to carry in your purse!

These pages match more Marvelous Marbles Address Book Brag Book Pages that are currently on sale in my store at Deco-Pages.com. I even have a set of templates so that you can make your own with any kit, or use for commercial purposes. See the post right below this one for a preview.

Daydream Vacation Kit

Here are a couple of LOs that I did with these quick pages ~

I am so fortunate to have the best mother-in-law in the world! I love her dearly and she has been so supportive of my efforts at designing. Be sure to check in on her blog too. She dabbles in digital scrapbook designing and her sewing creations are really fabulous! Let me tell you, if you have a daughter, granddaughter, niece, or even a friend's girl that loves dolls, like American Girl dolls, you really should email Donna or leaver her a comment. She makes special little girl and matching doll outfits that are absolutely gorgeous and exceptional in quality!! There is a slideshow that shows you some of her creations. The Name Game - Personalized Elements

My dear designer friend, Kathryn Estry, cam up with the neatest idea...how would you like to have cutomized elements of your name? Your kids' names? Even pets? Would be cool, eh?

Check out what Kathryn is offering....

Personalize your layouts with the name of your child or a friend. You pick the name, you pick the colors, and I'll do the rest! You can choose up to 5 colors for me to use to make the pieces you see in the main preview. There will be 15 pieces in all, and all will be make with the name or initial you choose for your set.

The pieces you'll receive are:

2 papers

1 buckled double ribbon with initial

2 tags

2 wax seals with initial

1 circle name

1 name frame

2 name twill "ribbons"

1 name paper clip1 acryllic name

2 name stickers

When you download the file attached to this product, you will receive my email address and instructions. You'll then sent to me the name and the colors you want me to use, and my instructions will include suggestions for making sure the colors are just right. Keep in mind that every name will look a little different, but all will be made in the same fonts you see in the preview, and all will be high printable quality ~ 300 dpi. Also, if you know how to change the color of papers and elements with your graphics program, feel free to alter the colors of the papers and elements after you receive them from me. That way you can use them on that many more layouts in the future.

Here is one of my LOs with this kit. Sparky...what a dog...can't you tell how spoiled he is? I just love him to pieces though and he is SO photogenic! I love scrapping him almost as much as I do my kids...lol.
